New York State PIRC

Family liaisons work together with schools and families to improve family engagement. They serve as liaisons between schools and students' families.  They conduct home visits, so they can learn from families about the child’s home environment and best learning styles.  They bring activities to the home and model educational activities that families can do at home to support children’s learning.  Learn more by listening to this interview between two Family Liaisons from a local school district.
